Frequently asked questions
May I use Terminie for a practice?
We are still clarifying this. The mere fact that someone has an appointment at a practice can reveal something about their health, and such information is specially protected (Article 9 GDPR). The booking form therefore asks for no health information. We cannot promise practices that they may use Terminie today. This is not legal advice.
Where is the data stored?
On servers in the EU. Terminie counts the visitors of the product page without cookies and without storing anything on the device, with a self-hosted counter, and loads no fonts from third parties. Error reports from the pages contain no personal data. The deletion periods and all details are in the privacy statement, which is published before the launch.
How long am I committed?
There are no contract terms yet. We will name the term and the notice period here before anyone pays.
Can customers pay a deposit or leave a card?
This is not available yet, but planned. The business connects its own Stripe account, and customers leave a card or pay a deposit when booking. Fees apply to the payments; we will name them with the prices.
Can I use my own domain?
Every business gets its own link to its booking page, which you can put on a business card, in the shop window or on your website. An address with your business name and your own domain are planned but not available yet.
Can I import existing appointments?
No, existing appointments cannot be imported. You set up your services and hours again.
